"As a child I was told that there's this place called Heaven, where you get rice pudding with as much brown sugar as you'd like on top and golden spoons to eat it with.How little did I know that this sweet Heaven, the garden of Eden included, does already exist, here and now, on our planet Earth, and that you don't have to die first to be allowed in.This little paradise is The Pink Cottage. It's pink and cosy and warm and comfortable. It's a place to relax and to start from on your walking tours along the rocky paths and the coastline.It's where you go back to in the late afternoon or early evening, just to sit down at the small wooden table, writing postcards or reading a book in the company of a glass of red wine.If you sit at the window and close your eyes, you can still see the Titanic passing by towards its disastrous end. It has the French Press, the teapot and the toaster, the romantic plates and cups bordered with a line of gold, the vases with flowers on the windowsill, the sofa and the blankets for the cold, the different types of tea, the muesli, the oatmeal and the homemade jam, the pink bathtub and the fragrant shampoos and lotions.It has. It has. It has.

"From the moment we arrived we were hooked on "The Pink Cottage" it was so beautiful both inside and out. You can definitely tell the owner loves what she does as it shows in every part of the cottage. The views, the bedroom, underheated floor in the beautiful bathroom, scented candles, lavender spray for your pillow at night, Heather has thought of everything and more.
The Secret Garden was a fantastic extra, somewhere we didn't want to leave, the fabulous weather we got helped but even in the evening when the sun was going down it was still the place to be, watching and listening to the many birds, beautiful wild flowers, comfortable chairs even a chimnea which was stacked with wood every evening.
We totally unwound which is what The Pink Cottage is all about!!! Thank you Heather will definitely be back"

I felt so relaxed in the gorgeous living room, reading through the books and listening to the wireless radio.The view from the sofa was breathtaking. "Really fab find. Every detail and practicality has been thought through by the host. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in whilst away from home. Very peaceful and calming with breathtaking, invigorating walk around the cliff paths on the doorstep. I was able to sit in the ‘secret garden’ and look out to sea. Just the tonic I needed!
